recess & lunchtime activities

Lunch and recess playtimes are a hive of healthy activity and fun at Lakes Entrance Primary School.

Education Support member Dave runs a clinic every play break in the undercover area usually in volleyball, netball or badminton.  From this activity many students have pursued the sport of volleyball beyond school.

Another staff member Lindy, organizes a fun, active, multi-age activity every day. This may be gymnastics, 10-50-100, dodgeball, T-ball or "Aussie" rules football.

The Library is open every recess and lunch break under the supervision of staff member Mrs Mac and provides students with a quiet place to read, play board games, use computers or dabble with the iPads.

Students also flock to the “Imagination” playground, shoot baskets, play chasey or play a multitude of “kid created” games. Plenty of staff mingle across the playground offering a smile, some encouragement or at times someone to talk to. The playground at LEPS is a fun place to be.
